Making Life Sweet - Splenda: Is It Safe Or Not?

The dangers of aspartame are now widely known, but the risks of usingSplenda are not as well documented - yet. Essentially, the sucralose inSplenda does not readily penetrate the blood brain barrier as aspartamedoes, hence creating neurotoxic havoc at the brain center. But, theresearch shows sucralose can negatively affect the body in several waysbecause it IS a chemical substance and NOT natural sugar.

Theres a sweetener war going on out there a battle for your dollar atthe expense of human health. It is important to educate yourself on thefacts about Splenda, aspartame (NutraSweet/Equal), and all the other sugarsubstitutes available on todays sugar-free market. In order to make adecision whether to use chemical sweeteners or not, you must have all thedata available, good and bad. But ALL the information is hard for thegeneral public to find. I have spent over fifteen years working with victimsof aspartame because the truth and information about the dangers ofaspartame has been quietly steered away from public access since the early1970s.

The same patterns with aspartame are repeating with sucralose (Splenda). The individuals who stand to profit the most have immense influence, and theinformation about Splendas dangers, just as with aspartame, is beingdownplayed. Corporate claims of product safety and innocuous researchresults are identical to those used by The NutraSweet Company. As you learnmore information about Splenda and see its advertisements, note thecomparisons and repeated patterns between the products, the corporations, and the marketing strategies. Maybe consumers can prevent damage to theirhealth from sucralose sooner than they did with aspartame, which hasaffected the health and lives of millions of innocent people since it wasintroduced into the public food supply over twenty years ago. Especiallydamage to a fetus or a child.

At least you, the consumer, deserve to be informed about the other sideof this safety issue so you can make up your own mind whether to use Splendaor not.
